VOX Circuitry:

It was noted that the VOX Sensitivity was too low after the Transmitter Mods were accomplished on the TS-950sdx.
It was determined that the modified mic input mixer circuit consisting of the 2ea 3.6K resistors was
reducing the drive level to the VOX circuitry and not allowing the VOX to trigger.

By placing a 3.3K Ohm Resistor in parallel with R3 (4.3K) on the VOX Unit CB (X59-1080-01),
it will make the final resistance value 1.92K Ohm, which will increase the Gain of the Op Amp from 213 to 516.
This makes the VOX Gain Control track normally and VOX Sensitivity is back to normal.

Reference the pictures below to locate and add the Resistor on the VOX Unit CB.

This is the schematic for the VOX circuit with the added 3.3K resistor.

The VOX CB is located on the AF Unit

Note the Solder Pads indicated to install the 3.3K Resistor.

This is the resistor installed with the heat shrink.
